Universal Orlando is Universal’s largest resort and has the largest and original Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which spans Universal Studios Park and Islands of Adventure.

Theme parks:

  • Universal Studios Park

  • Universal’s Islands of Adventure

  • Universal Epic Universe (opening May 22, 2025)

Water parks:

  • Universal’s Volcano Bay

Travel Tips

  • If you stay at a Universal resort, you get benefits like early park admission.

  • If it’s not a busy day, or you add on a Universal Express pass, you can do most of the attractions at both theme parks in one day. You’ll need to add another day to experience Volcano Bay or spend more time at Universal’s outdoor mall, Universal CityWalk.

  • One fantastic way to experience the parks is to attend an Orlando Informer Meetup – an after-hours event with unlimited food and low wait times for attractions.

Must-Do Attractions

Universal Islands of Adventure

  • The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man is a 3D motion simulator and dark ride. You can also find the attraction at Universal Studios Japan.

  • Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls is a log flume ride themed to the Dudley Do-Right cartoon character. The ride is famous (infamous?) for getting park guests wet.

  • Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure is a Harry Potter-themed Intamin multi-launch steel coaster.

  • Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey is a motion-based dark ride. You enter the attraction through Hogwarts Castle! You can also find the attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood, Universal Studios Japan, and Universal Studios Beijing.

Universal Studios Florida

  • The Bourne Stuntacular is an advanced 26-minute stage show themed to the Bourne film franchise.

  • E.T. Adventure is a dark ride that recreates the flying bicycle chase scene from the 1982 film E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. It was an opening-day attraction at Universal Studios Florida.

  • Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts is an indoor Intamin steel coaster themed to the Gringotts Wizarding Bank from the Harry Potter film franchise.

  • Universal Orlando's Horror Make-Up Show is a 25-minute live demonstration of Universal Pictures' legacy of horror movies and prosthetic make-up.
