Universal Studios Beijing was announced in 2014 and opened on September 20, 2021. The resort features a theme park, a CityWalk with shops and restaurants, and two hotels. A second theme park is planned.

The theme park features seven themed lands:

  • Hollywood Boulevard

  • Jurassic World Isla Nublar

  • WaterWorld

  • Kung Fu Panda Land of Awesomeness

  • Wizarding World of Harry Potter

  • Transformers: Metrobase

  • Minion Land

Travel Tips

  • Universal Studios Beijing is approximately a 35-minute car ride from Beijing Capital International Airport.

  • There’s a “Universal Resort Station” stop on the Beijing Metro. It’s a 7-minute walk from the station to the park’s security checkpoint.

Must-Do Attractions

  • The Decepticoaster is a Bolliger & Mabillard steel coaster similar to the The Incredible Hulk Coaster from Universal Islands of Adventure.

  • Jurassic World Adventure is a new motion-based ride unique to Universal Studios Beijing.

  • Kung Fu Panda: Journey of the Dragon Warrior is an indoor boat ride themed to “The Valley of Peace.”

  • Lights, Camera, Action! is the Beijing version of a special effects show that debuted at Universal Studios Singapore in 2010.

  • The WaterWorld Stunt Show is the same, excellent 20-minute live water stunt show from Universal Hollywood, Japan, and Singapore.
