Jul 31 Details Revealed for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic at Epic Universe

Universal Orlando Resort has released details for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, one of the five worlds at the Universal Epic Universe theme park, which will open in 2025. The world will include attractions, character meet-and-greets, dining, and shopping inspired by wizarding Paris from Warner Bros. Pictures Fantastic Beasts films and the British Ministry of Magic from the Harry Potter film series.

Guests will enter Dark Universe through its ornate portal into a Muggle park in Paris leading to 1920s Place Cachée, a hidden, bustling shopping district in wizarding Paris.

Attractions

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic will feature two major attractions, a wand shop, interactive wand-activated experiences, and roaming characters.

Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry is the premier attraction and the only ride within the land. The attraction will combine massive environments, powerful storytelling, and first-of-its-kind ride technology.
Le Cirque Arcanus is a live, full-scale theatre experience with live performers, aerialists, amazing puppetry, brilliant special effects, and more.
Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique is the premier Parisian wand shop. It will include popular imports from Ollivanders and a selection of exquisite wands packaged in unique three-sided boxes.
Throughout the land, guests can use their wands to cast spells at various locations, interact with fantastic beasts such as Nifflers, Bowtruckles, and a Demiguise, and engage with enchanted objects.
Roaming characters will be visitors, officials, and residents from the wizarding world, including exchange students from the Hogwarts and Ilvermorny Schools of Witchcraft and Wizardry, an Auror from the Ministère des Affaires Magiques de la France

Dining

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic will feature two dining locations, one bar, and a butterbeer cart.

Café L’Air De La Sirène is a cafe with French sandwiches, plats du jour and desserts.
Le Gobelet Noir is in the shadowy corners of Place Cachée and serves soups, salads, entrées, and desserts.
Bar Moonshine serves beers, wines and cocktails amid U.S. Quidditch team pennants and other items of wizarding Americana.
Bièraubeurre Cart is a butterbeer cart 😉

Shopping

Guests can shop for wizarding gear and memorabilia in Les Galeries Mirifiques, candy at the French confectionary shop K. Rammelle, and Ministry of Magic-inspired items at the Métro-Floo gift shop Tour En Floo.
