Universal Studios Hollywood's Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift to Open in 2026

Universal Studios Hollywood has announced the name of its first-ever high-speed outdoor roller coaster. The new coaster, currently under construction, will be called Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift and open in 2026.

Some additional details about the coaster were revealed in the press release:

• The attraction’s entrance will be located on the Upper Lot of Universal Studios Hollywood

• The queue will feature a large, red brick, garage-style structure

• The ride vehicles will be modeled after cars in the films

• The aerial track will wind its way over parts of the theme park

• The coaster will create the sensation of drifting cars thanks to the 360-degree rotation of individual ride vehicles and a track with sound-reduction technology

According to the coaster’s rcdb listing, the coaster is being manufactured by Intamin.
