Six Flags Fiesta Texas Announces DC Universe Expansion for 2024
Six Flags Fiesta Texas announced 2024 park updates to their DC Universe at their annual FT92 fan event on Saturday, August 26. The updates include three new attractions: METROPOLIS Transit Authority, CYBORG Cyber Revolution, and the SHAZAM! Tower of Eternity.
METROPOLIS Transit Authority will feature two Art Deco-covered monorail-style trains with an aerial view of the DC Universe.
CYBORG Cyber Revolution is a Zamperla Nebulaz with four individually rotating arms. Nebulazs are visually impressive rides, and riders will experience several airtime moments while seated upright.
SHAZAM! Tower of Eternity will be a 70-foot rotating drop tower with bounces and drops. The park’s signature drop tower, Scream!, is 205-feet tall.
Along with these updates, several existing attractions will be updated to include new Superheroes and Villains including THE PENGUIN: Gotham City Getaway, SUPERGIRL Sky Flight, and POISON IVY Toxic Spin. The park also renewed its commitment and investment in the guest experience.
“Six Flags Fiesta Texas continues to invest in the guest experience and create a dynamic collection of multigenerational attractions for every member of the family,” said Park President Jeffrey Siebert. “The addition of three new rides along with the reimagining of several others will create the largest and most exciting DC Universe at any amusement park in the U.S.. We’re excited to introduce our guests to this truly immersive experience,” added Siebert.
The park’s 2023 project, the KID FLASH Cosmic Coaster, has yet to open, but Six Flags Fiesta Texas said it will begin testing soon.
