More Details Announced for Fantasy Springs in Tokyo DisneySea

Disney Parks has announced attraction names and details for the Fantasy Springs expansion to Tokyo DisneySea. The expansion was first announced in June 2018 but delayed due to logistical issues caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Fantasy Springs is now set for a Spring 2024 debut.

The new Fantasy Springs expansion includes three areas and a hotel.

Rapunzel’s Forest

The Tangled-themed area will be themed to Rapunzel’s Forest, where the princess has lived since childhood. Rapunzel’s tower overlooks the land which features one attraction and one restaurant.

Rapunzel's Lantern Festival will be a 5-minute boat attraction that tells the story of Rapunzel falling in love with Flynn Rider on a boat ride to the annual Lantern Festival.

The Snuggly Duckling will be a counter-service restaurant inspired by the pub from the film.

Peter Pan’s Neverland

The Peter Pan-themed land will feature two attractions and one restaurant.

Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure will be a 6-minute 3D boat ride. Park guests will join the Lost Kids to explore Never Land with Peter Pan and Tinker Bell and help rescue John from Captain Hook.

Fairy Tinker Bell's Busy Buggies will be a 2-minute dark ride where guests help Tinker Bell start her new delivery service by delivering packages to the four seasonal areas of Pixie Hollow.

Lookout Cookout will be a restaurant themed to the Lost Kids’ hideout constructed with found objects and shipwrecked parts. The restaurant promises fantastic views of Never Land.

Frozen Kingdom

The Frozen Kingdom is set after the events of the first Frozen film. The area will feature one attraction and two dining establishments.

Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey will be a 6.5-minute boat attraction similar to the Frozen Ever After attraction at Walt Disney World’s EPCOT.

The Royal Banquet of Arendelle restaurant will feature three indoor dining areas with different themes and one covered outdoor dining area with views of the fjord cliffs and mountains.

Oaken’s OK Foods will be a counter-service snack location operated by Oaken from the Frozen films.

Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel

The new Fantasy Springs Hotel will be integrated into the park, featuring 475 rooms, two restaurants, a lounge, and a gift shop.

Fantasy Springs Restaurant will be a buffet-style dining option with paintings inspired by the Disney Animation films Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Tangled, and Sleeping Beauty. La Libellule will be a table-service French restaurant. Grand Paradis Lounge will be a lobby lounge with large, open windows. The gift shop will be called Fantasy Springs Gifts.
