Minion Land Opening August 11, 2023 at Universal Orlando
Universal Orlando Resort has announced that Minion Land will officially open on August 11, 2023. The new land has been in preview for park guests since June 17, 2023. The land’s main attraction, Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast, has been in technical rehearsal since July 15, 2023.
In total, Minion Land features six new spots:
Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast – the new moving walkway shooter attraction
Pop-A-Nana – a kiosk with banana-flavored popcorn
Free Ray Pops – a walk-up window with frozen treats
Bake My Day – a retail location and bakery
Evil Stuff – the land’s primary gift shop
Illumination Theater – home to meet and greet experiences with characters from the films “Despicable Me” and “Sing”
The pre-existing Despicable Me Minion Mayhem simulator ride is also part of Minion Land.
