Kings Island Announces New Area for 2023: Adventure Port
Kings Island has announced a new themed area for 2023! Adventure Port will feature two new rides, dining, and enhanced theming for the Adventure Express roller coaster.
The new rides will be a spinning disk ride called Sol Spin, and a spinning barrel ride called Cargo Loco. The rides pay homage to two defunct Kings Island attractions. Sol Spin looks to be a similar ride type to Skylab, and Cargo Loco is similar to Der Spinnen Keggers.
The new dining options will be The Mercado (currently Bier Garten) and Enrique’s (currently Hank’s Mexican Grill). Enrique’s food options look the same as Hank’s: “burritos, burrito bowls, tacos, salads, and sides.”
The area will be between Coney Mall and Action Zone, which is currently Oktoberfest.
