More Exciting Updates Debuting October 1st 2021 at Walt Disney World
Disney has announced more updates for the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World!
Here’s a roundup of everything debuting on October 1, 2021:
Magic Kingdom
“Disney Enchantment” will be a new nighttime spectacular at Magic Kingdom which will debut new immersive projection effects that extend from Cinderella Castle down Main Street U.S.A.
“Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade” will feature Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto, and Chip ‘n’ Dale in their new EARidescent outfits.
All eight of the characters in the cavalcade will be featured in golden sculptures in the hub.
Epcot
The “Harmonious” nighttime spectacular will debut! We haven’t heard a lot about the new show since the November 2020 Disney Parks update, but the barges are in place in the World Showcase Lagoon.
Previously announced, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will open in the France pavilion.
Previously announced, Spaceship Earth will have a new lighting package.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
“Disney KiteTails” will be a new daytime show at the Discovery River Amphitheater featuring music, performs with windcatchers and kites, and three-dimension kites on the water.
Previously announced, the Tree of Life will feature magical fireflies.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Previously announced, the Hollywood Tower of Terror will feature “special new touches.”
In addition to all of that, Disney announced they will be releasing several new books celebrating the 50th anniversary!
