Updates Continue at Disney Parks Around the World

Disney Parks Chairman Josh D’Amara gave a keynote at the IAAPA Expo today and provided updates on all of the new attractions coming to parks around the world. Here are some of the highlights:

• Work continues on Avengers Campus at Disneyland Resort and Disneyland Paris. The official name of the Spider-Man attraction is “WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure.”

• Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel will open “soon” at Disneyland Paris.

• Work at EPCOT continues on the Harmonious nighttime spectacular, the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction, and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. The Ratatouille attraction will open in 2021.

• New artist concepts were shared for the Star Wars hotel, aka Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.

• World on Zootopia Land at Shanghai Disney Resort continues.

• Work on Fantasy Springs continues at Tokyo Disneyland. The expansion includes themed areas for Frozen, Tangled, and Peter Pan.

• Disney plans on bringing back in-park entertainment that was recently discontinued.
