Disney Announces Taste of EPCOT Food & Wine Festival and Cancels Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party
Disney has announced updates to its festivals and special events in a blog post on June 18th. Here are the highlights:
When Epcot opens on July 15th, it will have a festival experience called “A Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival” with 20 booths. Of course, this means that the 2020 Flower & Garden Festival will not resume. But, Disney says you’ll be able to buy Flower & Garden merchandise and see the “floral fun.” We assume this means all of the topiaries and flowers.
More Epcot announcements:Remy’s Ratatouille Hide and Squeak scavenger hunt will return.
The “Eat to the Beat Concert Series” is canceled.
The America Gardens Theatre will feature EPCOT entertainment, including Mariachi Cobre, the JAMMitors, and more.
Disney has announced that they have canceled a couple of special 2020 events and will issue refunds:
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is canceled.
Disney H2O Glow Nights is canceled.
A decision has not yet been made on future events like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays.
