Disneyland Resort Announces Reopening Plans

Update (6/24/20): the reopening of the theme parks are indefinitely delayed.

Disneyland is planning to reopen for their 65th anniversary on July 17, 2020!

The reopening will be a phased approach that starts on July 9th pending state and local government approvals.

  • July 9th: Downtown Disney District including World of Disney will begin reopening with enhanced health and safety measures.

  • July 17th: Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park will reopen with reservations required, similar to what was announced for Walt Disney World.

  • July 23rd: Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Disney’s Paradise Pier will reopen to guests with physical distancing and increased cleaning measures.
