Disney Cancels All FastPass+ and Dining Reservations Through 2020

Walt Disney World has shared a huge reservations update that affects guests with existing reservations, and guests planning their visit to the parks.

According to the Disney Parks Blog, and theme park journalist Carlye Wisel on Twitter:

  • All existing dining, experience, dining plan, and FastPass+ reservations are canceled through the end of this year. Disney Dining Plan payments will be automatically refunded. (Update: The 2020 date was removed from the Disney Parks Blog, indicating all reservations were canceled).

  • New ticket sales and resort reservations (except Disney Vacation Club) are currently paused.

  • FastPass+ and Extra Magic Hours are suspended for the time being. The FastPass+ button has been removed from My Disney Experience.

  • Dining book windows will be reduced from 180 days to 60 days.

  • Park admission and a reservation will be required to enter the parks on July 11th.

  • Guests with WDW resort reservations will have priority to make theme park reservations.

  • Guests with existing dining reservations will have priority to rebook.

The announcements have raised many more questions than there are answers, and we expect Disney to follow up with more details soon.
