Muppets Theme Announced for Epcot's Regal Eagle Smokehouse

Disney Parks has announced more details for Epcot’s Regal Eagle Smokehouse at Epcot’s American Adventure. The quick-service restaurant will feature Sam Eagle from The Muppets with “Sam’s Centennial Cook-Off: A Salute to All Cook-Offs but Mostly Barbecue.”

In November 2019, the Disney Parks Blog provided a sneak peek at the menu, which will feature classic American barbecue and craft beers.

The Regal Eagle Smokehouse is replacing Liberty Inn, which closed July 8, 2019. Disney has not announced when the restaurant will open, but the listing for the restaurant says “opening soon,” so it should be on target for this winter.
