Star Tours Updated for The Rise of Skywalker
Good news for Disney Parks and Star Wars fans! Disney Parks announced on Friday that Star Tours is now updated with additional scenes. Episode IX: Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was released to theaters this week, and according to the Disney Parks Blog, all versions of Star Tours: The Adventures Continue were updated.
The new scenes include two planets, including the ocean moon Kef Bir, and an urgent transmission from Lando Calrissian. Disney now claims there are over 100 combinations of scenes you can experience.
Disney Parks operates four installations of Star Tours around the world at Disneyland, Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World, Disneyland Park at Disneyland Paris, and Tokyo Disneyland. With the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the future of Star Tours has been debated, but it’s now clear that it’s here to stay, at least for a little while.
