Disney’s DINOSAUR Dark Ride Goes Extinct February 2nd
Disney has announced the closure date for the DINOSAUR attraction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. DINOSAUR and Restaurantosaurus will both be closed starting on February 2, 2026. The last day to ride DINOSAUR or dine at Restaurantosaurus will be February 1, 2026. The closure date was announced on the web pages for DINOSAUR and Restaurantosaurus.
The last day to experience DINOSAUR is February 1. The attraction will close permanently on February 2 to make way for Tropical Americas.

The new Tropical Americas land, replacing DinoLand U.S.A., was first publicly revealed as a concept at Destination D23 2023 and then later confirmed on August 10, 2024, at D23 The Ultimate Fan Event.
