Land of Oz NC is Closed for 2025

The Land of Oz in Beech Mountain, North Carolina, will be closed for its 2025 season. The park typically hosts the Autumn at Oz Festival on weekends in September. According to an announcement, the Land of Oz must “conduct a comprehensive assessment of the event and the park itself.”

The community letter cites Hurricane Helene’s impact on Western North Carolina and the “critical importance of long-term sustainability and preparedness.” Guest experience, operations, infrastructure, and event sustainability will be evaluated.
