Herschend to Acquire Palace Entertainment U.S. Parks from Parques Reunidos

Herschend and Parques Reunidos have signed an agreement for Herschend to acquire all 20 of Palace Entertainment’s U.S. entertainment properties. Palace Entertainment includes many amusement parks, including Adventureland, Castle Park, Dutch Wonderland, Idlewild & SoakZone, Kennywood, and Lake Compounce.

By growing wisely and staying true to our purpose, we are building a future where we can continue creating memories worth repeating for generations to come.”

Prior to the acquisition, Herschend Family Entertainment operated a total of four amusement parks: Dollywood, Kentucky Kingdom, Silver Dollar City, and Wild Adventures.
