More Details on Dollywood's Dolly Parton Experience – New Land for 2024!
The Dolly Parton Experience will be a new land opening at Dollywood in May 2024. Dollywood has shared more information on the new land and attraction, which is replacing the former Chasing Rainbows Museum and Adventures in Imagination area.
The new attraction will feature many interactive elements and tell the story of Dolly Parton from her childhood home in Locust Ridge, Sevier County, to concert halls worldwide. With multiple buildings, the experience will be three times the size of the former Chasing Rainbows Museum.
The attraction will feature three distinct experiences:
Songteller
Take a walk-through journey of exhibits spanning Dolly's life and iconic career, including the inspiration for and results of her biggest dreams.
Behind The Seams
In this one-of-a-kind exhibit, explore a curated selection of Dolly’s signature style through the years and a behind-the-scenes look of the creative process.
Precious Memories
Dolly's family and friends will continue to perform in the DreamSong theater, but now as you wait for the next show, you'll discover the importance of faith and family in a whole new exhibit within the theater queue.
Also in the land will be a new merchandise location and Dolly’s home on wheels (i.e., tour bus).
