A new family coaster is opening at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay in spring 2024!

Phoenix Rising, manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard, will be the 10th coaster at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. The new coaster will be in the park’s Pantopia area, replacing the former wild mouse coaster SandSerpent, which closed on July 9, 2023.

Phoenix Rising will feature onboard audio and ride cars that swing side to side. It’s the largest family-friendly addition to the Pantopia park area.

  • Maximum speed: 44 mph

  • Track length: 1831 feet

  • Minimum height requirement: 44 inches
