Pixar Place Hotel Opening January 30, 2024, at Disneyland Resort
The Pixar Place Hotel will officially open to guests on January 30, 2024, at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. The Disneyland Resort hotel is a re-theme of the existing Paradise Pier Hotel, open to guests during the transformation.
Here’s what’s coming soon to the hotel:
A new lobby featuring a mobile of Pixar characters and the Pixar Lamp balancing atop its ball
Reimagined guest rooms with Pixar characters and some art by Pixar Animation Studios artists
The Great Maple restaurant (opening In November 2023), with upscale American comfort food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
A grab-and-go coffee shop called the Sketch Pad Café
A rooftop pool bar called Small Bytes with salads, wraps, cheese plates, and adult beverages
Here are the updates that are already open:
The new “Finding Nemo”-themed splash pad and pool area with Pixel Pool, the Nemo’s Cove pop-jet splash pad, and the 186-foot Crush’s Surfin’ Slide
Fire pits near the pool featuring Jack-Jack from Pixar’s “The Incredibles” and Anger from Pixar’s “Inside Out”
An updated gift shop called STOR-E (like Pixar’s “WALL-E”)
An updated fitness center featuring a mural of Mike and Sulley running on a treadmill
Guests staying at Pixar Place Hotel have a dedicated entrance across the street with direct access to Disney California Adventure Park.
The Pixar Place Hotel was built in 1984 and was originally known as the Emerald and the Pan Pacific. The Walt Disney Company acquired the hotel in December 1995. It was renamed the Paradise Pier Hotel in October 2000.
