Buffalo Bill's and Desperado Coaster Likely Reopening by January 2023
Update (January 2023): Buffalo Bill’s Hotel and Casino has reopened, as reported below. The Desperado roller coaster and Canyon Log Flume remain closed. Visit the Primm Valley Casino Resorts website or Primm Valley Resorts on Twitter for updates.
The Desperado roller coaster at Buffalo Bill’s Hotel and Casino should reopen soon. According to a post on VegasAdvantage.com, Buffalo Bill’s plans to reopen permanently by January 2023.
The Hotel and Casino reopened temporarily in June 2022 and will be open again temporarily in September 2022 for a concert.
It’s not clear if the Desperado coaster will reopen when the Hotel and Casino reopen; however, it seems likely. On the Park Rovers Facebook page, a commenter mentioned that the coaster is testing “frequently.”
The Arrow Dynamics steel coaster silently celebrated its 28th anniversary on August 11, 2022.
