Adventureland Treehouse Opening at Disneyland in 2023

Disney Parks has shared its vision for the refreshed treehouse in Adventureland. The walk-through attraction will be called the Adventureland Treehouse inspired by Walt Disney’s Swiss Family Robinson.

The original Swiss Family Treehouse opened at Disneyland on November 18, 1962, and closed on March 8, 1999, for retheming. The attraction opened again on June 23, 1999, as Tarzan’s Treehouse and closed on September 3, 2021. The rumor was that Disney Imagineering was considering creating an Encanto-themed treehouse.

While the new theming for the treehouse is heavily inspired by the classic Disney film Swiss Family Robinson, a Society of Explorers and Adventurers (S.E.A.) flag appears in the concept art. Read more details on the Disney Parks Blog.
