May 17 Disneyland Paris Reopening June 17 with Cars ROAD TRIP

Disneyland Paris Resort is reopening on June 17, and there are lots of exciting things! Here are the highlights from Disney’s announcement:

Cars ROAD TRIP will debut at Walt Disney Studios Park. The attraction is replacing the “Studio Tram Tour: Behind the Magic” (see our 2019 YouTube on-ride POV) and is a Cars-themed road trip along Route 66.
There will be “selfie spots and surprise appearances” at both parks. There will be at least two new experiences: (1) Star Wars Legends and (2) “The Cheshire Cat Express Train” featuring characters from Alice in Wonderland.
Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel will start booking on May 18, and its grand opening will be June 21. The brand new four-star hotel features 471 “superior rooms” and 90 “executive rooms.” 25 Suites are dedicated to Spider-Man, the Avengers, or Marvel Super Heroes.
Other hotels will reopen over the summer:
- Disney’s Newport Bay Club reopens on June 17 with the parks.
- Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne reopens on July 1.
- Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch (campground) reopens on July 13.
- No details were announced for other hotels, but it was recently announced on the Disney Parks Blog that The Disneyland Hotel is undergoing refurbishment.
