Disney MagicMobile Service Coming Soon to Walt Disney World

Disney MagicMobile Service Coming Soon to Walt Disney World

It’s been a long time coming, but guests will soon be able to use their phones for everything at Walt Disney World Resort!

Here’s what we know:

  • You can create a MagicMobile pass in the My Disney Experience app that you can keep in the digital wallet of your smart device

  • MagicMobile will support theme park entry by holding up your phone near an access point

  • The iPhone and Apple Watch were mentioned in the Disney Parks Blog post, but all popular smart devices will likely be supported

  • The service will launch “in phases” later this year

  • MagicBands and Keys to the World cards will still be available and work alongside MagicMobile

Back in June 2020, Disney announced that they were retiring complimentary MagicBands for all resort guests starting on January 1, 2021. At the time, it was surprising that Disney Parks did not announce a replacement for theme park entry.
