DVC Epcot Lounge Tour and Overview

The Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Member Lounge at Epcot opened on June 6, 2016, and is open through at least 2020.

The Epcot Member Lounge access is one of the "Membership Magic" benefits offered to eligible DVC members. To meet eligibility requirements for Membership Magic, new DVC members must own 100 Vacation Points purchased directly from Disney.

Where is the Member Lounge?

You access the lounge through the Journey Into Imagination with Figment gift shop. You check-in at a counter with your DVC membership card and a photo ID.

Who can I bring into the lounge?

Each DVC member can bring up to five guests.

What's up there?

  • No bathrooms

  • Lots of seating

  • Three Coke Freestyle machines

  • One Keurig-style coffee machine

  • An area with a TV playing cartoons

  • Wi-Fi

  • Charging stations

  • Computers

  • Member Services Advisors and an RCI Representative

What was there before the DVC Lounge?

The lounge is the former upper-level lobby of ImageWorks, which closed in 1998. You cannot access the other old areas of ImageWorks because they are walled off.

What's the future of the lounge?

It's unclear what will happen after 2020. It seems likely that the "Journey Into Imagination with Figment" attraction and the Imagination Pavilion will be re-imagined soon. But, the lounge is also very popular with members, and that Disney would relocate it to perhaps somewhere else in Epcot.
