Tokyo Disneyland's Spring 2020 Updates
Tokyo Disneyland's "New Fantasyland" is set to debut on April 15, 2020. Tomorrowland and Toontown will also debut new attractions on the same day.
Here are all the updates:
A themed Beauty and the Beast area will feature Belle's Village with Maurice's Cottage, Gaston's fountain, restaurants, and shops. There will also be a forest leading to Fantasyland Forest Theatre and the Beauty and the Beast Castle. The castle will be home to the much-anticipated Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast dark ride.
Tomorrowland will add a new Big Hero 6 flat ride called The Happy Ride with Baymax. The attraction will be similar to Alien Swirling Saucers from Disney's Hollywood Studios, or Mater's Junkyard Jamboree in Disney California Adventure. Accompanying the ride will be The Big Pop, an outer space-themed popcorn shop.
In Toontown, Minnie's Style Studio will be a new meet-and-greet with Minnie Mouse.
The Disney Parks Blog called this "the largest redevelopment ever at Tokyo Disneyland."
