SeaWorld and Busch Gardens 2020 Announcements
SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment made some spring 2020 announcements on Thursday, September 12th! Let’s break them down by park:
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
The most exciting announcement is Iron Gwazi, a Rocky Mountain Construction project. Iron Gwazi will be the 10th coaster at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and will be 206 feet tall, feature a 91-degree drop and hit speeds up to 76 mph.
Adventure Island
Solar Vortex will be America’s first dual tailspin water slide. The slide will have a 52-foot tower and reach speeds up to 20 mph
SeaWorld Orlando
Ice Breaker will be multi-directional launch coaster. It features a reverse 100-degree tilt launch and four launches total. It’ll be the 6th coaster at SeaWorld Orlando.
SeaWorld San Antonio
The Texas Stingray will be the tallest, longest and fastest wooden coaster in Texas. It features a 100-foot drop, 3,400-feet of track, and a top speed of 55 mph.
Other SeaWorld Parks
Busch Gardens Williamsburg previously announced a new multi-launch coaster for 2020: Pantheon.
