2018 Themed Entertainment Industry Report Released
A major 2018 report for the theme park industry is out! Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) and the Economics practice at AECOM release a "Theme Index and Museum Index" every year. This year's report has many interesting statistics.
One of the most impressive stats is that attendance at themed attractions exceeded one half-billion visits in 2018. Theme park visits were up, almost across the board!
If you look at the top 25 theme parks worldwide, it's no surprise that Disney once again dominated the list with seven parks in the top 10. Disney's Animal Kingdom finished 6th after experiencing a 10% increase from 2017!
