Sesame Place San Diego opened on March 26, 2022, on the former site of Aquatica San Diego. It’s the first theme park in the world to be certified as an autism center by the IBCCES.

Sesame Place San Diego is located in Chula Vista, about 25 minutes from the San Diego International Airport (SAN).
Several attractions and parks are in San Diego, including Belmont Park, SeaWorld San Diego, and the San Diego Zoo. Mundo Divertido is a park in Tijuana, Mexico, with a couple of coasters.
Must-Do Attractions
Elmo's Rockin' Rockets is an aerial carousel ride, similar to Dumbo from the Disney parks.
The Sunny Day Carousel features Sesame Street-themed horses.
Super Grover's Box Car Derby is a Zierer steel family coaster. It’s a clone of Air Grover from Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.
