Disneyland Announces Shows and Parades for 70th Anniversary
Disney has announced new details for the 70th anniversary of Disneyland Resort. The celebration will run from May 16, 2025, through summer 2026.
Highlighting the celebration will be a variety of new and returning shows and parades:
World of Color Happiness! will be a new nighttime show at Disney California Adventure inspired by Walt Disney’s dedication on opening day in 1955. Characters from “Inside Out” and other Pixar films will be featured.
The Paint the Night parade will return to Disneyland Park with over a million LED lights and Disney and Pixar characters.
Wondrous Journeys will be a new nighttime spectacular at Disneyland Park on select nights. It will celebrate Walt Disney Animation Studios classics.
Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration! will be a new daytime parade at Disney California Adventure with nearly 30 Pixar characters.
Mickey and Friends Celebrate Happy! will be a new character cavalcade at Disneyland Park.
In addition to the shows and parades, there will a new celebratory theme song called “Celebrate Happy,” special 70th anniversary decor throughout the resort, updates to attractions, and new merchandise. A Coco scene will debut on “it’s a small world,” and new graphics on Toy Story Midway Mania! will celebrate the 70th anniversary. Mickey and Friends will be wearing new 70th attire.
Merchandise will include new ears, apparel, toys, and home décor.
