Disney Announces Closing Date for “It's Tough to be a Bug!”
Walt Disney World has announced that the “It's Tough to be a Bug!” 3D film in the Tree of Life Theater will be permanently closed starting March 17, 2025. The last day to experience the attraction will be March 16, 2025. The attraction is being replaced by a Zootopia show, which is set to open in the winter of 2025.

It's Tough to be a Bug! was an opening day attraction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park, which opened on April 22, 1998. The attraction also operated in the former “A Bug’s Land” area at Disney’s California Adventure from February 8, 2001, through March 19, 2018.
