Six Flags Fiesta Texas to Rebrand Goliath as "Chupacabra" for 2025 Season
Six Flags Fiesta Texas has announced that they’re transforming their steel-inverted roller coaster Goliath to Chupacabra for the 2025 season. The transformation will make the attraction better fit thematically inside the Mexican-inspired Los Festivales area. In addition to the attractions’ queue and signage, the area around the entrance will be updated.
The park teased updates to Goliath on its social media before officially announcing it on Friday, December 13th.
In a press release, the park shared a backstory for the attraction:
Your adventure starts at the themed courtyard, complete with eerie sights and sounds to set the tone. At the heart of Chupacabra lies a chilling, stone-carved sculpture of the beast itself. Travelers beware, the monster’s glowing red eyes seem to follow you, casting long shadows as dusk falls. Haunting howls echo throughout the area, teasing the bold who dare to enter its lair.
Approaching the ride’s portal, ominous warnings greet you, carved into wooden signs that caution riders to “Beware the Chupacabra!” Below, claw marks slash across the frame, hinting at the creature’s power.
As you step into the queue, clawed footprints etched into the concrete lead you into the beast’s domain. The anticipation grows as you ascend the stairs to the loading platform, the echoes of an ominous musical score growing louder.
The beast is near. Are you ready to ride?
