Europa-Park Revs Up for 50th Anniversary with New Dark Ride and Festival
Europa-Park in Rust, Germany, is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2025.
As part of their 50th anniversary celebration, the park is opening a new dark ride, debuting a new parade, and more! The park is owned by the Mack family, which is famous for MACK Rides attractions like Voltra Nevera, which debuted in 2024. Read Eric’s review for a review of the park.
Grand Prix EDventure Dark Ride
The Grand Prix EDventure will be a new interactive family attraction. The ride will be themed to the “Grand Prix of Europe” movie, a 90-minute feature film debuting worldwide in 2025. The attraction will leverage the MACK Rides GamePlay Theater ride system that is also being used at Paulton’s Park for Ghostly Manor.
Nordic Festival of Lights
The Nordid Festival of Lights will be held at the Rultanica indoor water park from January 13 to March 21, 2025. The festival will feature special illuminations, shows, and entertainment.
The entertainment programme in the water world also inspires with plenty of atmospheric highlights during the Nordic Festival of Lights in Rulantica. The youngest visitors can go in search of the magical light of Rulantica together with the inhabitants of the water world, and the artists of the Europa-Park show ensemble present truly dazzling artistic performances.
New Parade and More
The park is also planning more special attractions for the 2025 season:
A 50th-anniversary parade.
A 50th-anniversary art contest.
An extension to the Camp Resort with new cabins and a buffet restaurant.
The Europa-Park Zeppelin will fly over the Lake Constance region from April to October 2025. In July, park mascots Ed Euromaus and Edda Euromausi will be seen in the Zeppelin above Europa-Park.
50th-anniversary merchandise will include a limited edition collector’s album, an exclusive 50th-anniversary Monopoly, T-shirts, hats, and more.
