Everything you need to know from D23 Expo 2022
D23 Expo 2022 in Anaheim is wrapping up, and we wanted to recap all of the major announcements for the parks and Disney Cruise Line. Josh D’Amaro delivered many announcements in his presentation “A Boundless Future: Disney Parks, Experiences and Products.”

Spring 2023: TRON Lightcycle / Run will debut in Tomorrowland
2023: An updated “Happily Ever After” nighttime spectacular will return
2023: The Hatbox Ghost will debut in the Haunted Mansion
Late 2024: As previously announced, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will debut
“Coco,” “Encanto” and Villains-themed concept art was shared for possible lands located behind Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
EPCOT
Late 2023: A new nighttime spectacular themed to Disney’s 100th-anniversary celebration will debut
Late 2023: The Walt Disney statue “The Dreamer” will be completed in World Celebration
Late 2023: The Journey of Water, inspired by Moana, will open in World Nature
Late 2023: Figment will make appearances to meet-and-greet guests
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
“Moana” and “Zootopia” concept art was shared for possible updates to Dinoland U.S.A.

Mid-November 2022: The Mandalorian and Grogu will appear at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
Late January 2023: A new fireworks show called “Wondrous Journeys” will celebrate all 60 Walt Disney Animation Studios productions
Early 2023: Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway will debut in the updated Mickey’s Toontown
Spring 2023: The “Magic Happens” parade will return

Next Week: The Incredible Hulk will appear in Avengers Campus in his Quantum Suit
Late January 2023: A new nighttime show called “World of Color – One” will tell a new story weaving in classics and favorites from Disney’s 100 years
Avengers Campus will add a third attraction based on the Multiverse, featuring King Thanos
Pacific Wharf will be rethemed to San Fransokyo from “Big Hero 6” and feature new shops, dining locations, and a Baymax meet-and-greet
Disneyland Paris
Hotels
The Disneyland Hotel refurbishment is taking inspiration from “Cinderella,” “Sleeping Beauty,” “Tangled,” “Frozen,” and more
Walt Disney Studios Park
2023: A new stage show called “Pixar: We Belong Together” will debut as part of the grand finale of the Disneyland Paris 30th anniversary celebration
A “Tangled”-themed attraction will be located near the “Frozen”-themed land
Hong Kong Disneyland
Mid-to-late 2023: World of Frozen will open
A new statue of Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse will be unveiled near Cinderella Carousel

Late October 2023: The Disney Wonder will offer cruises from Australia and New Zealand
2024: The sixth ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet will set sail; it’ll be themed to adventure and called the Disney Treasure
2024: Progress continues on Disney’s 2nd island called Lighthouse Point
