Dollywood Announces New Coaster for 2023: Big Bear Mountain

Big Bear Mountain is a new Vekoma-built multi-launch family coaster opening in spring 2023 at Dollywood. The coaster is the “largest single attraction in Dollywood history.” It’s the latest addition to the Wildwood Grove area at Dollywood, which was a very successful 2019 expansion.

Here are the details:

  • Longest coaster at Dollywood at 3990 ft.

  • 99-104 seconds ride duration

  • 66 ft. at the highest track elevation

  • 48 MPH max speed

  • 20 passengers/train

  • 39” minimum rider height
