4D Chocolate Movie at Hershey's Chocolate World Closing September 5

The 4D Chocolate Movie at Hershey’s Chocolate World is closing this Labor Day (September 5, 2022).

A new “adventure-filled experience” will open in summer 2023 as part of Hershey’s Chocolate World’s 50th-anniversary celebration.

The 4D Chocolate Movie attraction initially opened on May 4, 2013, and is a collaboration between The Hershey Company, Jim Henson's Creature Shop, and The Henson Digital Puppetry Studio. The attraction features 100+ story variations of a chocolate mystery storyline.

Hershey’s Chocolate World’s website is counting down to 2023 when the 50th-anniversary celebration begins with “events, new adventures, and plenty of treats.” There will also be a birthday party on June 30, 2023, exactly 50 years after the opening of Hershey’s Chocolate World.

Visit Hershey Chocolate World’s website to learn more about the 50th anniversary and get your tickets to see the 4D Chocolate Movie one more time.
