Castle Park is a Must-Visit for Theme Park Enthusiasts
Have you been to Castle Park in Riverside, California? If not, you’ll want to put it on your list!
The park was created by theme park legend Bud Hurlbut. Hurlbut is most famous for designing the Calico Mine Train and Timber Mountain Log Ride at Knott’s Berry Farm. Walt Disney is said to have monitored the construction of the Calico Mine Train, which inspired and drive forward efforts at WED Enterprises (now Walt Disney Imagineering).
Castle Park is a small 25-acre amusement park, but it has a lot to offer. If you’re curious, check out Andrew’s full tour on the Park Rovers YouTube channel.
We also posted on-ride POVs of several of the rides, including both coasters, the antique car ride, the Sky Rider observation tower, and the Ghost Blasters dark ride.
