Cedar Fair Updates: Carowinds, Kings Dominion, Valleyfair, California’s Great America Closed for 2020
Cedar Fair made some big announcements today for most of its parks.

Cedar Point has replaced HalloWeekends with the Tricks and Treats Fall Festival, which will start on September 12. After Monday, September 7, Cedar Point will be open on Saturday and Sunday only until the last day of their season on Sunday, November 1.
Dorney Park will close for the season on Monday, September 7. Wildwater Kingdom will remain closed for the rest of 2020. Read the announcement.
Kings Dominion will remain closed for the rest of 2020. Read their announcement.
Kings Island will continue to operate on select days through Sunday, November 1. Both Halloween Haunt and Winterfest are canceled. A new event, the Tricks and Treats Fall Festival, will start on September 26. Read the announcement.
Knott’s Berry Farm has canceled Knott’s Scary Farm for 2020. While rides remain closed, Knott’s announced a new festival that will start after Taste of Calico. Taste of Knott’s will debut on August 21 and run on weekends through September 13. Also, the Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel will open on August 21. Read the announcement.

No new announcements were made for Canada’s Wonderland (closed until further notice), Michigan’s Adventure (open select days through Monday, September 7), or Schlitterbahn Waterpark (open select days through Monday, September 7).
