Disney Pausing Annual Pass Payments and Offering Refunds

Are you an annual passholder at Walt Disney World or Disneyland? Disney has made some updates regarding the COVID-19 closures.

Here are the details that apply to both resorts:

  • If your AP is paid in full, you have two choices:

    • Request a refund for the closure period. Details will be announced soon.

    • Take no action, and your pass will automatically be extended by the number of days the parks are closed.

  • If you’re on the monthly payment plan, payments will automatically be paused starting on April 5, 2020. Payments made between March 14 through April 4, 2020, will be retroactively refunded. Payments will resume on your regularly scheduled payment date once the parks reopen. Your pass expiration date will remain the same.

    • Alternatively, you can postpone your payments and have your pass extended by the number of days the parks are closed. Postponed payments will be collected in the months following the end of your regularly scheduled payment term.
