How to Help Cast Members from WDW and Disneyland
Disney recently announced that they made the difficult decision to lay off cast members as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Below is the official statement from Josh D’Amaro:
As theme park fans, we should do what we can to support the Cast Members that have done so much for us. We’ve compiled some ways you can help:
Support the Cast Member Food Pantry, which benefits Florida Cast Members and soon, Disneyland Cast Members too!
Donate to CastMemberFoodPantry on Venmo.
Buy items on the Cast Member Pantry Amazon Wishlist.
Run in the Foamily 5K Virtual Run by Carlye Wisel, which benefits the Cast Member Food Pantry.
Join the Ears for Each Other Facebook group to support businesses (e.g., Etsy shops) by Cast Members.
