Mickey’s PhilharMagic Now Open at Disney California Adventure

Disney Parks has announced that Mickey’s PhilharMagic opened today at Disney California Adventure (DCA)! See the Disney Parks Blog for more info.

Mickey's Philharmagic is in the Sunset Showcase Theater in the Hollywood Land section of DCA. The theater has most recently been the home of movie previews but was most notably home to Muppet*Vision 3D from 2001-2014. Disney Fandom has a good rundown on the theater's history.

DCA is the fifth park to have Mickey’s PhilharMagic. The 4-D film attraction is also at Magic Kingdom (Walt Disney World), Hong Kong Disneyland, Tokyo Disneyland, and Disneyland Park (Paris). Disney Parks likely decided to add it to DCA to add another attraction ahead of the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland Park.
